Ways to support your earners to keep their badges when they leave your organisation.
You've put in the hard work to issue badges to your students and now they are due to leave - what happens to their badges now?
If you have been issuing badges to your students' school / college / university email addresses, when these email addresses are shut down, students will lose access to their badges.
Don't worry - there's a simple way for them to retain their badges and use them for the next steps in their journey!
- Below are links to email templates available in our Knowledge Base that you can copy, amend, and send to your students. Each email template contains a step-by-step guide for adding personal email addresses to their badging accounts, as well as some optional information for ways they might use their badges for seeking future opportunities.
- We recommend contacting earners with the relevant email template before they are due to end their study so that there is ample opportunity for them to carry out the simple steps required.
- You may also consider following up the email with reminders, and/or dedicating some lesson time to supporting earners through the process.
